(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indiana students interested in attending a U.S. military service academy will have an opportunity to learn more about the process next month.
Sen. Jim Banks' office will host a Service Academy Day on July 18 at the Indiana War Memorial in Indianapolis.
The event will bring together representatives from the nation's military academies to meet with students and families and explain the admissions process.
Topics will include admission requirements, academic standards, nomination procedures, academy life, training expectations and application deadlines.
Students and parents will also have an opportunity to ask questions directly to academy representatives.
The event is intended for students considering future enrollment in a U.S. military service academy.
